Well, not really new light. Same old light, new place. A new place for creativity in Makati. Right, Niccolo?
Opening soon!

MJ Suayan is one of my classmates during the Raymund Isaac workshop. Apparently, he also took a class under my boss, Niccolo Cosme. This is the photo he took during that said workshop. Nice red tone here, that’s why I am reposting this because I liked this a lot!
Better keep this photog under your radar and watch out for more of him.
HIV/AIDs is a very alarming concern. Just as note, everyday, millions are becoming infected with the disease. The time to act upon it, is now.
Niccolo Cosme, one of the premier fashion photographers in the local scene, has been a very active advocate for the cause and is now on his third year for organizing his Project Headshot Clinic for HIV/AIDs awareness. Let us all act now.

Niccolo’s cute Pomeranian, Hopee. =)
Project Headshot Clinic is now on its third year and is still backing up an advocacy it has supported for three years now too: HIV/AIDS awareness. The event will be held this November 20 at Attica bar in A.Venue, but before this open photoshoot is made, a pre-event shoot was provided for some media and press friends. Here are some action shots from the pre-event.

No this is no porn show. But this is a show alright, a show of 30 years of Niccolo Cosme’s personal journey through his images.

Cosme XXX is like the visual representation of Niccolo Cosme’s 30 years of existence, infused with his experiences as a fashion photographer for 9 years now. His influences on Christian iconography and religious artifacts has been his niche in the industry, elevating him into another realm of understanding.
Congrats Boss Nic.
Let me help you again with another exhibit.
Here are the other photos taken using my phone cam (I did not bring my camera that night).

(Late post…again)
Last April 29th, a tiny and beautiful flickers of light gathered at Maria Orosa. It was so beautiful, people went out to see what was this beautiful distraction. Lighthouse Studio was the venue where this commotion was happening. People were amazed with what they saw:–a convergence of the flickers and bang!
Lightworks!
Lightworks is an exhibit of beauty, fashion and portraiture by the students of none other than the renowned fashion photographer and headshot meister, Niccolo Cosme.
The images presented at the exhibit were of the fine students of the first and second workshops conducted by Niccolo Cosme. Congratulations to these individuals for the successful event: Emiko Ono, Gregory Fermont, Larry Faypon, Alvin Adriano, Royd Santiago, Poma Malantic, Goryo Bautista, Loyva Fernandez, Minette Fabian, Keanne Labausa, Doc Tony Comia and of course, *ehem* Dustin Carbonera *silence, cricket sound*.
Again, enough of the words, let these images of the event speak for the a thousand words I would have typed.

Yet again, she was not my model. But being the salimpusa photog that I am, I did take some shots.
She’s Tatiana, and I was not able to get her last name. She is, as relayed to me, half-Filipina, half-Irish. Nice face, height and posture. She knows how to pose her theme. Not hating, but there are models that needs extra coaching but she was able to think fast and even give some comments.
Well, here’s Terri Bivins. She is one model you cannot miss. Just by the way she looks and stands, there is no doubt that you will not see her as a model. She’s only been modelling since, 14 years old. Right now, she’s around 20-something so there. Posing for her is like breathing and yawning. Ha!
Well, she was not my model. This was the shoot of another photog from the first Lighthouse Studio workshop by Niccolo Cosme. And yes, being the echussera (?) person that I am, I took some shots.
)
By the way, the excellent hair and make-up done by Robert Caindoc of iModels Casting Agency.
Here are other photos of her:
