Muay Thai : The Art of Eight Limbs

The deadly Flying Knee
With the current situation in the streets nowadays, like crime rate going up, one feels threatend every time he goes home at the wee hours of the night. Sometimes, even at around 7pm, no one is safe. That is why one needs to be prepared; the need to be alert and vigilant is here, but what is important also with that is the knowledge on how to defend when the situation arises. Because of that, I decided to learn Muay Thai.
Muay Thai, for some of you who doesn’t know, is the national sport of Thailand. It is called the Art of Eight Limbs basically because it utilizes eight ways of attacking thru hands, feet, knees and elbows. It is a very dangerous martial art that can be used in short or long range combat.
I am currently on my second week now and it has been fantastic. It burns fat fast! But the best is the discipline and the techniques we learn there. I am training with my girlfriend Jacque (because I am really afraid for her safety at all times when we are away, so I need her to learn this one) and with my good friend Keo (who is a good photographer, artist, singer, IV therapist *?*, nurse, first aider *?* and many more!).
Up top is my teacher during my Saturday lesson.

Do you have to be sarcastic when it comes to describing me? :’(((((((
